Welcome to the blog that accompanies our book “Internet Security for Your Macintosh and iPhone: A Guide for the Rest of Us” as well as Open Door Networks’ other security products.

The goal of this blog is to provide Macintosh and iPhone users with up-to-date information on the latest Internet security issues relating to their devices. We can only update the book every so often, but we can update this blog almost in real time.

This blog includes RSS technology, so you can subscribe to it and be notified whenever a new entry is added. If you use Safari, simply click on the blue RSS button, and then add a bookmark to the site. You can also search this blog to look for recent information on specific issues or services, or view an archive of the whole blog.

For even more real-time updates, please check out our associated Twitter stream.

This being a Macintosh Internet blog, we’ve tried to use as many Macintosh-related technologies here as we could. In particular:

  1. This blog is created and maintained through Apple’s iWeb application (currently iWeb ’08).

  2. This blog is hosted on a Mac running Mac OS X Server.

  3. This blog uses Google search technology on its search page.

If you’d like to provide us with any feedback on this blog, or on our products in general, you can contact us through this page.
